Privacy & Terms
Last reviewed: 4 July 2026
The short version: 100% private. Our preparation tools run in your browser. What you type stays on your device. We do not run analytics. We do not sell data. We are independent and not part of the NDIA or the Australian Government.
Your information in the tools
Our preparation tools (My Fluctuation Patterns, the Evidence Organiser, the worksheets, and the Know Your NDIS Rights course) work entirely in your browser.
- Nothing you type is sent to our servers. We do not have servers that receive it.
- Your answers are saved in your browser's local storage so you can come back later. Clearing your browser data removes them.
- You control what leaves your device. Printing, copying or sharing your summary is always your choice.
Membership and payments
Membership is optional and never required to use the tools. Payments are processed by our payment provider under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your card number.
Your member code is checked in your browser, on your device. We keep no member database and no login records. If you email us, we know your email address, and we use it only to help you.
Membership is a personal purchase. It is not an NDIS support and cannot be paid for from NDIS plan funding.
The news page
The NDIS news page is the one page that fetches from the internet. It loads public news headlines when you open it. The request comes from your browser and includes nothing you have typed into our tools. If you never open that page, nothing is ever fetched.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on our tool pages. Local storage is used only to save your progress on your own device.
What our tools are, and are not
Our tools help you prepare and organise your own information. Every generated statement comes from what you entered.
- They are not an assessment, diagnosis, or funding prediction.
- They are not legal, medical, financial or registered disability advocacy advice.
- All NDIS decisions are made by the NDIA under current legislation.
- Review any output with a qualified professional before formal use.
Independence
Plan Decoder is an independent resource. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of the NDIA, the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, or the Australian Government.
